Bruno Taddia - Lindo
Trained
under the guidance of Paolo Montarsolo, after attending courses at the Rossini
Academy in Pesaro with Alberto Zedda, he made his debut as Don Alvaro in Il
Viaggio a Reims at the Rossini Opera Festival, where he was again invited
for Il Turco in Italia (The Poet). Artist of impressive vocal and stage
talent, he is regularly invited by the most prestigious theaters in Italy and
abroad such as the Teatro alla Scala, the Covent Garden in London, the
Metropolitan in New York, the Liceu in Barcelona, the Opera in Rome, the Teatro
Comunale in Bologna, the Auditorium S. Cecilia in Rome, the Ravenna Festival,
the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Semperoper in Dresden, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein
in Düsseldorf, the Opera Festival in Tenerife, the Palm Beach Opera, Théâtre du
Châtelet in Paris, the Spoleto Festival in USA. His passion for chamber music,
makes him a refined liederist.
He recently
starred in Don Pasquale (Dottor Malatesta) in Santiago de Chile;
Bernstein’s Candide (Maximilian) at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome;
Haydn’s Orlando Paladino (Pasquale) at the Théâtre du Châtelet and
Handel’s Serse (Elviro) in Versailles, both under the baton of
Jean-Christophe Spinosi.
Among his
future projects: L’Italiana in Algeri (Taddeo) in Pavia and then on tour
in Brescia, Cremona, Como and Novara; La Cenerentola (Dandini) at the
Palm Beach Lyric Opera; Iphigénie en Tauride (Oreste) at the Grand
Théâtre de Genève.
His
discography includes: Vivaldi’s Tito Manlio for CPO, Rossini’s Il
Turco in Italia for Dynamic and Naxos and Matilde di Shabran for
Decca.
